Rossi Antiques: A world of Refined Luxury

Interior design sometimes involves creating custom furniture, using pieces that are based on the design of antiques, restoring time worn furnishings to former glory or finding a rare antique to complete a room.  The Design Directors of INSTUDIO get transported to an elegant past when visiting the San Francisco showroom & workrooms of Rossi Antiques. Mr. Rossi specializes in the preservation and restoration of early antique furniture and precious objects of art.

The showroom features the Lx Rossi line of furniture. An extraordinary collection of beautifully made custom chairs, tables, mirrors, desks, libraries and other unique designs that are of impeccable construction with original finishes and patinas over stained hand rubbed woods or hand-painted surfaces.

A tour of the workshop reveals a world of refined craftsmanship that is a reflection of the past. The expertise, experience and artistic talent of Master cabinet makers, Master wood carvers, Master eboniests, fine wood refinishers, artists painters and Gold leaf workers produce individually made custom pieces and restore fine antiques and furnishings.

Rossi Antiques donated the time and talent of his workshop by refinishing two dining chairs that were found on the street by the Design Directors of INSTUDIO. The “Tally Ho” chairs will be part of the St. Vincent de Paul Society auction event
